Being Human is Genderless, and so is our Soul
Sanford and Catherine use a foundation of circus skills to explore and unlock where people are blocked and holding themselves back from love, connection and healing. In this practice, the use and continuity of specific language including encouragement, courage, collaboration, intention, intuition, cultural competence, and other trauma-healing words are encouraged wherever possible. Sanford and Catherine promote the use of collaboration to minimise tough and isolating experiences to create pathways for participation and integration. They work to bring individuals and teams together using a foundation of circus skills to play, physically interact, and unlock emotions.
Sanford has suffered his own trauma and financial disparities. His lived experience gives him insight, enabling him to create something where he could give back to those who were also struggling in his culture and other communities. Sanford specialises in serious fun, and as such he has created a successful and unique fusion of performing arts, circus and counselling, with formal qualifications in these individual fields.
Catherine is the Events and Business Manager for Mental Wealth is Health and operates a support and aged care business. Catherine is also associated with Peggy’s Place, which is a safe place for women and children who are experiencing domestic violence.
